The content for the Present Meets Past section was not developed for the ECHO Prototype. Nevertheless, this place holder was requested in order to at least indicate that the proposed history of Canada Web site would eventually have more to offer than just the >10,000 Years (a.k.a "the least we need to know") section.

The design played with typography and used an original illustration created by Dan Buller. In the red box there was a little scrolling text describing the section.
