This is a subsection of the Sharing the Continent chapter. I guess the only thing I haven't pointed out yet is the decorative border running down the left of the page. Each chapter had its own tiling image as part of its graphic identity. The iconography was usually a detail taken from an image used to illustrate a text in the chapter.

You also might be wondering what's the difference between the landscape here and in the previous section, People and Places. Well, all we added was the Viking boat off the east coast. This wasn't just an easy way out. We wanted keep the emphasis on the strong first nations occupation of the land at the time of contact, rather than giving too much importance to the relatively minor outside presence.
