With many concepts in mind Dan set to work. He did preliminary sketches, and then got a friend to produce 3-D models to work with the perspective. From these he did the final drawings, which we scanned and drew again, by hand, in vectors to get the vintage video game esthetic. Below are examples of two of the final drawings, one for the navigation device on the ECHO Prototype Home Page, the other for the Present Meets Past icon. I've also included the final versions of the graphics as they appeared in the site. ![]() Original artwork for main navigation island, ECHO Prototype Home Page, by Dan Buller.
