Page 3 — Audience User Groups (Draft Version)

The NFB Auteur Animation Web Site seeks to address the needs of multiple user groups. These are defined as follows:
  1. Expert Users: creators of auteur animation, professors and students of auteur animation, auteur animation critics and commentators, and the producers of auteur animation.
  2. Aficionados Users: general fans of auteur animation, including experts from other disciplines (e.g. filmmakers, other artists, other producers, etc.).
  3. General Public Users: aficionados of commercial animation, those looking for an entertainment experience, tax payers, those who discover the site by chance, as well as specific case groups (by age, by cultural community, and various specific orientations.
  4. Strategic-Thinkers Users: selected representatives of the NFB, Animation Jeunesse, ACI-East, ACI-West, the Indy community, Auteur Animation schools, animation critics community, including producers, executive producers, DI group, directors, animators, support, professors and students, other talent, etc.
  5. Animation Presenters/Producers, Non-creators: festival programmers, television programmers, journalists, critics, and 3rd party distributors (e.g. Web distributors).
